OK. So What Am I Doing Wrong?
Currently, I’m having a frustrating problem in this blog site trying to post my thoughts and keep it from running all into one story. So I take my usual approach to this kind of problem. I delete the file and start from scratch all over again.Sadly, it doesn’t work in this case.
No matter what I do, when I hit the save button all my formatting and line breaks all magically disappear. It might have something to do with the fact that I always put the picture in last.So let’s try something different. I put the picture in first, hit the enter key, select Header 1, type the title again, highlight the title, change the font colour, hit enter and type the rest of the story and then hit publish at the end.
Did it work? Nope. Everything ran back together in one paragraph and the font colour change reverted back to the template format. I tried inserting HTML paragraph codes before <BR><BR> but they just get stripped. It didn’t happen before, so what am I doing wrong.
Computers, pfffffff.
And so I tried to fix it again today. Did it work? Yep. Go figure.
I think all computers are female–they do what they want whenever they feel like it (lol)
Hi there. It may be just the template but I know that on mine with Today.com I had the same problem at first. When you are formatting with line breaks etc… right before you hit the save or publish button make sure to go back up on the navigation boxes and you’ll see that it says paragraph in the left hand side box. Make sure to change that to format before you hit save or publish. I normally do not use a word doc and then copy and paste because it’s hell trying to format. I hope this helps.
Tried this with the same result. Doesn’t make sense that previous posts worked and recent ones are not working. So I went and edited the first post done on this site. All I did was save it and the line breaks all disappeared. Even tried different themes. Makes no sense at all.
I went back in and tried it again. And now it works. ?????????????
